I spent most of my summer this year waiting to hear from my kids who were traveling all over the world.  I did not want to travel too far from home, so I could be there if they called.

Mmmm, yummy.  I can taste my favorite food as I write about it.  Stuffed red snapper that has been freshly prepared at my favorite restaurant makes my mouth water!

Bates, I miss you.  I never had a dog when I was growing up, but when I got married, my husband and I bought a beautiful shepherd.  He lived with us for 12 years and became a part of our family.  I miss her daily!

Whee!  One of my favorite activities is to ride my bike.  I love to ride through the trails of Kingwood, especially through mud puddles after a great rain!
