This summer we went to Destin, FL. Aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. all met for the 4th of July for lots of food, sand, and fun.

I think what I love most about a crawfish boil is the constant grazing. Once you dump everything on the table, you just park your butt in a chair and stay there for the better part of the day.

Colleen A. introduced me to turtles as pets and I just love them. We now have 2--David and Dragon. They are quiet, clean, and pretty interesting to watch. I've always liked reptiles but, they are even cooler as pets.

When I grow up, I want to paint like Terrence Osborne. He is proud of his Louisiana heritage and you can "feel" that through his paintings.

Oh, I love Destin, Fl. We use to take a 2 week vacation there every summer. We haven't gone back in a while because we're all so busy, but Dave and I have talked about going possibly next summer. I love white, powdery beach there...that sand is so soft. The water is usually pretty clear...from what I remember. Great vacation spot!! :)

I love Florida. We only made it as far as Galveston this summer, but the ocean sounds the same in Florida or Texas. In Galveston you just have to close your eyes and imagine clear, blue water.

OOOHHHH! I love Destin, as well. I have not been in quite a few years, but it was great fun when I went. Yummy, I love crawfish boils, too. My momma and daddy are both from Louisiana, so I have been sucking heads since I was a wee lass! We used to have a turtle in my backyard when I was growing up. Who knows? He may still be there!
What a gorgeous paiting. I am a sucker for art, as well. My daddy is an artist and it skipped a generation, because my son can paint, as well! Yea!

I don't get the appeal of crawfish. I really don't want to have to work that hard for my food. I love shrimp - more bite per peeling!

Destin is such a fun place to be with the family! How great to be there during the 4th and seeing the fireworks over the water!
You would've loved the Hermitage in St. Petersburg! Every artist I think, was represented!
